Land Crisis

Hi friends. We solicit your special prayer as the government has re-zoned the land in our area and is taking away a large piece of our property including the spring and the creek. Also we are short staffed as four teachers decided to leave and two others are currently away, one to deal with the land issue, and the other for a family situation. Thank God he has sent two more teachers who arrived yesterday, and there are some others who want to come but are waiting on passports and trying to gather sufficient travel funds. We plan to help them and the mission plane will pick them up in Leticia Colombia, Lord willing. That flight will cost about 500 dollars.
Through it all, I feel the greatest crisis we face right now is our own character development. Time is running out fast and we have so much to learn and unlearn and relearn. Please pray for me and the rest of the staff here that we will gain the victory over all selfishness and be able to more fully do the work here the way the Lord would have it done. We need special levels of grace, wisdom, temperance and patience and His love in our hearts.

We are amazed at how this simple little school seems to rouse the ire of the enemy, and how easily we seem to fall in his traps of murmuring and discouragement. Thanks for thinking of us and may the Lord keep you.
